Information Technology Executive Salary Survey

     The survey covers thirty-one executive positions in Information Technology.  In 2009, forty-one companies from the accounting, advertising, banking, bio-medical research, brokerage, consumer products, diversified financial services, entertainment, equipment rental, healthcare and healthcare insurance, hospital and medical services, insurance, investment banking, managed care, manufacturing, media, non-profit, payroll services, pharmaceutical, professional services, retail, transportation, and utilities industries participated in this survey.  The total number of personnel employed at the participating companies ranged from 350 to 281,000.  The number of employees working in the information technology area ranged from 61 to over 4,300 with an average number of 1,365 employees.  The average budget for the information technology area is approximately $480 million.  The average budget amount per employee in information technology is approximately $275,000.
