Data Display Reports describe each survey position's statistics in two pages. (Please note, we collect individual incumbent data, and as part of the reporting process we calculate averages as needed.)
The first page displays four graphs, two each for base and total compensation.
Bar Graphs are frequency diagrams showing the number of incumbents by compensation level.
Line Graphs show the cumulative percentage of incumbents by compensation amount.
The second page shows the average of the participant's incumbents raw data for each position surveyed. The following report variables are shown:
Position Title - The title of the position matched by the participant.
Number of Incumbents - The number of incumbents reported by the participant.
Number Eligible - The number of incumbents eligible to receive a bonus.
Number Receiving - The number of employees receiving a bonus/incentive.
Base Compensation - The average base salary.
Total Compensation - The average total salary (e.g. base plus bonus/incentive).
Bonus Percent - The average bonus percent for those receiving bonuses.
Salary Structure Range - The minimum, midpoint and maximum of the position's salary structure.
Job Match - The quality of job match reported on a scale of 1 (highest) to 5 (lowest).
Incentive Compensation Range - The minimum, target, and maximum expressed as a percentage of base salary.
Position Location - The percentage of incumbents located in a line department .
Employees Supported - The number of staff positions this position supports.
Years of Service - The years of service with the participating firm.
Years of Experience - The average number of years of experience in Human Resources.
Hours Per Week - The normal number of work hours per week.
Days - The normal number of days worked per week
Weeks of Vacation - The average number of weeks of vacation per year.
Officer Status - The percentage of incumbents who are officers.
Profit Sharing - The percentage of profit sharing based on most recent experience.
Long-Term Eligibility - The number of incumbents eligible to participate in any long-term incentive program.
